At Vakratund Foundation and Welfare Trust, we believe that awareness is the first step toward empowerment. Our Awareness Campaign for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) is designed to educate, inform, and support parents of children with disabilities, caregivers, educators, service providers, and other stakeholders across the disability sector.

This campaign focuses on spreading awareness about government rules, regulations, rights, and welfare schemes for PwDs, while also highlighting programs aimed at enabling persons with disabilities to lead independent, dignified, and productive lives.

Many families and individuals remain unaware of the legal rights, protections, and support systems available to persons with disabilities. Lack of information often becomes a barrier to education, employment, social participation, and economic independence.

Through this campaign, Vakratund Foundation and Welfare Trust seeks to:
